October 11th tournament on the golf course Lisia Polana finished the autumn round of
elimination of World Corporate Golf Challenge Poland in 2016. It was the third and last in this year meeting of the second Polish edition of the largest corporate tournament of golf world. The next four meetings qualifiers and national grand finale are scheduled for April and May next year. Winners of the series will reveal Polish representation on the global WCGC finals, which will take place in June at the Oitavos Dunes in Cascais, Portugal.
During this year’s elimination 25 double teams were selected and already got the promotion to the national finals in 2016 – the last stage of the Road to Cascais for WCGC Poland players. The outcome was determined by the sum of individual points from 3/4 Net Stableford HCP team members (top 6 teams) and gross Stroke (2 team in which members were to be the best man and best woman, who were not members of the team qualified for the final for places 1-6 in the classification Net Stableford ¾ handicap).
In the grand finale of the national WCGC 2016 Poland will take part also 3 teams that won the previous edition of the tournament.

World Corporate Golf Challenge is the biggest corporate golf tournament in the world. From
its inception, 22 years ago, in the competition of regional and global participation was attended by over 1 000 000 golfers. In 2015, WCGC local tournaments took place on 5 continents. In the 44 countries of the world, there was a total of approximately 300 events WCGC that attracted more than 15 000 players. The World Final 2016 will be attended by representatives from more than 50 countries (Poland is one of them since January 2015), which will host the national events. The first Polish edition was held on 22 and 23 May on Lisia Polana golf course near Warsaw.
