Cafés Nicola was once again invited to partner with World Corporate Golf (WCGC) under the slogan of “Bringing the world of business together”.
Cafés Nicola will thus be present for all participants and guests at the WCGC World Final, to be held at The Oitavos (Cascais, Portugal) from 11 to 15 November 2020.
This golf cup is well known globally and attracts players from around the world who form teams representing their companies. Our team attended all tournaments to provide tasting experiences and to showcase the Nicola brand, as an Official Product, through extensive international exposure by major media channels. The combination of business and golf made this tournament another perfect Nicola encounter.
The origin of Nicola’s cafés goes back to 1779, to one of the most emblematic establishments in Lisbon: the Café Restaurant Nicola. This establishment was a meeting place for writers and politicians and the most famous gatherings in Lisbon.
From the beginning, the Café Restaurant Nicola had its own batch of coffee, coming from Brazil and São Tomé and Príncipe and sold under the name of Nicola. The conquest of the market, the birth of new habits and demands concerning coffee, made it necessary to control all the stages of production and so the Venda Nova factory was created.
Today, Nicola is present in the mass market channels (large scale distribution) and the foodservice channels (restaurants, hotels and offices).
