Dodd’s Gin is to partner the World Corporate Golf Challenge (WCGC) at this year’s England and Scotland Finals being held on 1 September 2014 on the Ailsa course at Turnberry.
Elysian Golf is the new WCGC license holder extending its reach further into the corporate sector on an international scale and specialises in delivering “golfing dreams” for individuals, small groups and corporate clients.
The World Corporate Golf Challenge takes place in more than 28 countries worldwide – over one million golfers have taken part since its inception in 1993. The winners of each National Final being held on 1 September will go on to represent their company and country at the World Final in 2015.
Dodd’s Gin was released in spring 2013 with luxury retailer Fortnum and Mason and pays tribute to Ralph Dodd, an 18th century born entrepreneur and engineer who had a vision to create Genuine British Spirits Compounds and Cordials. The London Distillery Company’s co-founder Darren Rook and his team discovered the Dodd legacy, a business with similar ethos and name, over a year after founding the company in 2011 and embraced it when launching its gin product.
