A great day of golf and networking

World Corporate Golf Challenge is an international golfing tournament for corporations and is the biggest corporate tournament in the world. Qualifying tournaments take place in more than 40 countries in five continents and bring together representatives of corporations from all over the world. The winners of these qualifying tournaments are rewarded places in each year’s final tournament, where they compete for the title of World Corporate Golf Champion.

The Icelandic qualifying tournament was held in partnership with Kvika, Avis, Cintamani and Árnasynir ad agency and played at the golf course of Leynir golf club in Akranes. 36 teams from 28 corporations participated and the winners, as already stated, came from Icepharma. Páll Ólafsson and Haukur Sörli Sigurvinsson from Vífilfell came in second place and Reynir Sigurbjörnsson and Hlynur Sigurdórsson from Rafþjónusta Sigurdórs/Bílver in third, respectively. As the pictures show, the conditions were excellent and the atmosphere fantastic.
