Kinloch Anderson

Kinloch Anderson is to partner the World Corporate Golf Challenge (WCGC) at this year’s England and Scotland Finals being held on 1 September 2014 on the Ailsa course at Turnberry.  Elysian Golf is the new WCGC license holder extending its reach further into the corporate sector on an international scale and specialises in delivering “golfing dreams” for individuals, small groups and corporate clients.

The World Corporate Golf Challenge takes place in more than 28 countries worldwide – over one million golfers have taken part since its inception in 1993.  The winners of each National Final being held on 1 September will go on to represent their company and country at the World Final in 2015.

Kinloch Anderson designed the World Corporate Golf Challenge tartan in 2013 when the World Final was held at Loch Lomond in Scotland.  The colours of the tartan are a tonal mix of blues and greys which reflect the corporate colours of the Tournament’s logo and a fine white line passes through Saltire blue to represent the Scottish flag.

John Kinloch Anderson, Chief Executive of Kinloch Anderson said “Tartan and golf have long been associated with each other and we are delighted to be part of this through our association with the World Corporate Golf Challenge.  The brand association of Kinloch Anderson, Elysian Golf and Turnberry Resort also fit together perfectly for the National Tournament.”

David Bailey, Chairman of Elysian Golf, said “Kinloch Anderson combines its heritage extending back to 1868 with a modern style and business approach.  The Company is renowned for high quality Scottish clothing and textiles, and is innovative and internationally minded, making Kinloch Anderson a perfect partner for us.”

At the time of going to press, there were still entries available at both the English and Scottish Finals this coming September.  To find out more and to enter your two man team visit England or Scotland microsites.
