After years without organising the national circuit, the celebration of the Nordestada World Corporate Golf Challenge took place on September 21, Wednesday, in a spectacular enclave such as the Retamares Golf Club, designed by José María Olazábal.
With more than 40 teams (86 players), all participants could enjoy a great day full of emotion, camaraderie and competitiveness; in a tournament held fourball on a day that more than one was a great challenge due to the heat and the intensity of the field.
In the end, Andersen’s team, composed of Fco. Javier Ibáñez and Alberto Bergaz were proclaimed – with a net result of 45 – champion of the Nordestada World Corporate Golf Challenge and will have the honour of representing their company and Spain in the WCGC World Final, to be held at Golf Costa Adeje, Tenerife, from October 17 to 21, 2022.
The couples representing Gil Gil and Thomas Asociados and Grupo Enertel were about to reach the victory, but they remained at the gates for the minimum, despite their excellent records.

In addition, a cocktail and awards ceremony was held at CasaClub, in Madrid. The awards ceremony was presented by Raquel Revuelta and entertained by the musician Javier Moya. CasaClub is a private club that develops an intense cultural, leisure, gastronomic, golf, travel and business activity in a unique and singular space in the heart of Madrid.
