Players and guests stayed at the NH Almenara Hotel all week and La Reserva de Sotogrande Club De Golf in Cadiz, Andalucia, Spain was the venue for the golf tournament, where nearly 30 teams from around the world battled it out. The World Final came right down to the last hole where the team from Sweden came out on top (128 points) above India (125) and then in third, Dominican Republic (121). The event was also supported by Turismo de Andalucía and Diputación de Cádiz – IEDT. The World Corporate Golf Challenge is the biggest corporate golf tournament in the world, and was covered by media partners TIME and FORTUNE and Golfing World TV.

During the competition, all WCGC’ finalists received the support of the Spanish golf legend Manuel Piñero and the renowned coach Simon Holmes, both Global Ambassadors for the 2014 season. Moreover, as part of the events that took place in La Reserva, attendees could enjoy the spectacular golf trick show of another WCGC Ambassador Jeremy Dale.

Simon Holmes commented towards the end of the final day, “for the leading teams, to be the World Corporate Golf Challenge champions is a serious title and it’s definitely caught people’s attentions. The lead groups are going to get very tense over the last five holes. It’s going to be a fascinating day.”
