The Onyria Palmares, was the official golf course of the first competition in the southern region. This competition had 72 players that were received at welcome desk area, for the delivery of official equipment and give away pack with several offers from sponsors.
The tournament had a traditional Algarve style halfway bar sponsored by Nicola, Carlsberg and Vitalis. During the results at the recording area, the players were presented with a Mateus Sparkling Cocktail.
This competition has full support of SPORT TV, as official television, which will make an extensive coverage of all the tournaments and M80 as official radio.
Cascais will be again the venue for the world Final of the largest amateur golf tournament for companies in the world. 2018 Edition of the WCGC in Cascais will have a special reason because is the celebration of 25 years of existence.
COMPETITION
In competition there were 36 teams representing companies in the region and official sponsors of the event.
At the end of the day the winners were 5 teams that will compete in the National Final to be held on 9 and 10 June at Penina Golf & Hotel Resort.
The official trophy of the competition has the full support of Vista Alegre.
After the fantastic lunch, the prize giving awards took place and was announced the partnership that WCGC has with Mama Help, a solidarity project which help women with breast cancer.
