The WCGC is pleased to Welcome new license holders from Sweden and Finland. This marks the return of the WCGC national events to the Nordic region, where Norway held a WCGC license in previous years. The WCGC is in a position to help to drive corporate golf in these territories now, and hopes to bring on new license holders from other countries in the region in the coming year.
The National WCGC Event in Sweden event will be run by the golf management and events company, Toptee. Toptee have positioned themselves immediately as a strong partner to the WCGC, and have ambitious plans for how to run the WCGC event in 2012 and beyond. The Swedish event will be held throughout 2012, and culminate in the National Final at Kungsängen Golf Club.
The Finnish WCGC event will be run by Eke Golf , a Finnish golf management company, who purchased the license for the country of Finland. The Finnish event will be held throughout 2012, and culminate in a National Final. In Finland the WCGC is in a position to be the signature corporate golf event in the country, and the WCGC and our business partners feel that Eke Golf is well suited to ensure the success and future growth of the WCGC in the country.
