The Municipality of Cascais, and its Mayor Carlos Carreiras, presented last Friday January 9th, to the media, the great cultural, sporting and conference events for 2015.
One of the highlights was the WCGC World Final. It´s the first time that WCGC will organise the World Final in Portugal and the Mayor of Cascais commented, “it´s a great opportunity for Cascais to position itself, once more, as a golf destination, attracting investment and senior executives to the area”.
In the same direction, our Chairman, José Guerra, was very pleased with the Cascais Tourism Board, who from the beginning saw the importance and relevance of hosting an International Amateur Golf Championship. “We are very happy to bring the event to Portugal, my home country, and especially to this fantastic area of Cascais. The WCGC team is looking forward to this 2015 World Final edition.”
In addition to the WCGC World Final, 22 events representing cultural, sporting and conference will take place during 2015.
