VPAR Live Golf Scoring is to once again partner the World Corporate Golf Challenge at this year’s 2016 World Final. After the continued success of VPAR Live Golf Scoring at the last World Finals, the WCGC are delighted to announce VPAR as our Official Scoring Partner in Cascais, Portugal.

150702_VRF1532VPAR’s interactive, game-changing technology provides players with real-time leaderboards on the course, in the clubhouse and live online. Their technology is trusted by golf clubs and event organisers across 20 countries and five continents. VPAR supplies over 850 events each year ranging from Corporate Golf Days, Charity Golf Days, Club Championships, Amateur and Pro Am Tournaments.

Over 40 teams will be taking part at this year’s World Final at Oitavos Dunes in Cascais, and they will all be taking full advantage of the VPAR scoring system.

Harry Lloyd, Event Director at the WCGC, “VPAR Live Golf Scoring has partnered our event for the last five years and we continue to receive nothing but praise from the competitors who have used the system. In a Stableford Points event like the World Corporate Golf Challenge, there is nothing better than having access to live scoring during the tournament rounds. This continued partnership bodes well for the future and we look forward to expanding on this in the not so distant future. We are delighted to have VPAR at the 2016 World Final and are looking forward to some memorable moments.”

This year’s World Final will also see VPAR Live Scoring used at the Corporate Cup Invitational. A Ryder Cup style event, captained by WCGC Ambassadors, will take place alongside the main event and will be participated in by invited guests from the world of business and golf, sponsors and media. Lloyd said: “We are delighted to have VPAR at this year’s Ryder Cup style Corporate Cup. This event that is designed to provide a platform for invited only guests from the world of business to come and network during the week. When both corporate teams line up against each other, both the captains and players will have access to the match scores throughout the two days. If the event comes down to the last few matches, both teams will know exactly what they need to do, all courtesy of VPAR.”
