May 20 and 21 2016, the final of the second edition of WCGC in Poland took place. Corporate teams of 2 players fought on Lisia Polana golf course near Warsaw to win the main prize – a trip to the world tournament World Corporate Golf Challenge, which will be held June 21-26 in Cascais, Portugal.

The winners are Sobienie Królewskie Power team – Mieczyslaw Gwiazda and Piotr Szymanski with the result of 133 points STB. The second place won Blue Eagles team</strong> – Bartosz Brzoska and Wojciech Hallmann (129 points). Third place went to the team Dobra Sztuka – Jan Zawadowski i Piotr Ostaszewski (128 points).

The two-day tournament is not only competition on the golf course – the tournament is accompanied by lots of activities for participants and guests WCGC Poland. After the first day of struggle a banquet in the Business Club Stadium Legia Warsaw was held, which was attended by more than 200 invited guests. It was hosted by Mateusz Kusznierewicz – Ambassador of the Polish edition of the tournament accompanied by Lukasz Ostaszewski, president of WCGC Poland and Ewa Wolowiec – tournament director. During the event, the awards for individual performance on the course, as well as special prizes from sponsors who funded them in competitions for 11 holes of tournament were presented. Special guest of the event was popular Polish pop singer, Margaret, presenting a song from his latest album. Unexpected surprise for the guests was a mini golf contest closest-to-the-pin on Legia Warszawa 1916 hole, which took place on the sward of the current Polish soccer champion – Legia Warsaw. The winner received an invitation to the VIP lounge on the selected match Ekstraklasa in season 2016/2017.

On Saturday, during the final round, the golf course two accompanying events took place at Lisia Polana: a Golf Academy for guests and Open category contest for novice fans of the game of golf. It was attended by representatives of the media and the sponsors of the event, a total of nearly 30 people. Among seniors won Kamil Ancypa representing Regent Warsaw Hotel, among the juniors – Pola Rogowiecka. All the winners have been awarded with the official statuettes WCGC Poland in 2016 and gift packs of valuable prizes.

The responsible for the organization of the tournament in Poland WCGC was Plej advertising agency. Their responsibilities covered: coordination of preparation, attracting sponsors and partners of the tournament and cooperation with them, media relations, as well as the production and implementation of the event.
