After Amendoeira Golf Resort and Santo da Serra, Quinta do Peru was the host course of the third race of WCGC Portugal 2022, where 46 teams of companies from all regions and official sponsors of the race completed.
With a whole house, a wonderful sunny day, no wind, and the perfect conditions for a big event, the players who participated in this stage came to compete also for the WCGC Ranking. This ranking results in 4 teams for the national final through the accumulated points of each qualifier in which each team participates. The third stage had the participation of 8 companies that played in the southern stage and four teams that travelled from Madeira to be present at Quinta do Peru.
At the end of the competition day, eight teams were ranked to compete in the National Final held on July 16, at The Royal Óbidos, where the winning team will be cleared and will win the Turkish Airlines grand prize: a trip for two people to Istanbul in business class and represent Portugal in Tenerife.
More than golf
At each stage of the competition, there are also actions such as the “Quick Breakfast by Bonne Maman”, in which participants have the opportunity to taste the brand’s products, the perfect meeting with Nicola Coffees, during the cocktail that Paradise Escape sponsors, we can get to know the various partners closely. The latter bet on having an excellent presentation of their services and products.
The chef’s olive oil tasting, with canapés made with Distintus olive oil, by Chef Sérgio Gama, the Porta da Ravessa/Adega de Redondo wine tasting, Belmar preserves that are served in tasty canapés, USPOT croissants with a diverse variety of sweet and savoury flavours and Neighbours gin. This premium gin is enjoyed and enjoyed by all participating golfers.
Also, during the cocktail party, the results conference was held with new activation, the ‘WCGC MEDIA’, where the players had access to the various magazines and newspapers of our communication partners.
The stage at Quinta do Peru was attended by Councilwoman Dr Argentina Marques of the Municipality of Sesimbra, partner of the World Corporate Golf Challenge Portugal, with an official television SIC News and an official radio TSF from Global Media Group.
The next and final qualifying round of the 23rd WCGC Portugal 2022 will take place on June 4 at Axis Golfe Ponte de Lima.
