October 19-23 Shanghai Dongzhuang Beach Golf Club

ABOUT THE VENUE

Dongzhuang Beach is located north of Pudong Airport and is home to two different styles of golf courses, both with a standard 18-hole championship course. It was designed and modeled by the prestigious international firm JMP, with the direct authorship of the renowned designer Mark Hollinger. It occupies a total area of more than 2,700 acres and has involved an overall investment of 100 million yuan. Both the Garden View Course and the Links Course feature courses of more than 7,300 yards in length.

ABOUT THE Shanghai Dongzhuang Beach Golf Club Course

Park View Course:

The Park View Course (also known as Parkland) is notable for its level of challenge. Its design is replete with lakes and streams, and forces golfers to dodge multiple strategically placed bunkers. Each hole offers a spectacular natural setting, with scenery interspersed between tee and green. Despite being located in an urban setting, the course offers a tranquility that invites you to linger.

Linksland:

The Linksland course, located by the sea and conceived as a counterpoint to the Garden View, represents one of the few pure links-style courses in Shanghai. Its natural, expansive landscape is invigorating. With meandering bunkers, knee-high grass and flowers along the edges of the fairways, the design faithfully maintains the aesthetics of classic links courses. This layout preserves the original essence of the terrain, appeals to the adventurous spirit of the player and tests his or her perseverance and ability to overcome with every shot.
