The World Corporate Golf Challenge (WCGC) is proud to announce Madrid as Premium Partner of the 2026 WCGC World Final, which takes place from 19 to 23 October at Qinghe Bay Golf Country Club in Beijing, China.
The agreement with Madrid brings one of Europe’s most dynamic business and cultural capitals to the Final. Executives and entrepreneurs from more than 30 countries will gather in Beijing, and Madrid will be part of the experience from the first day.
As Premium Partner, Madrid joins a group of international organisations supporting the event. Its presence will introduce WCGC’s global community to the city as a destination for business, events and leisure.

Madrid: a leading destination for sport, incentives and leisure
Madrid is among the five best sports cities in the world, according to the consultancy Burson. Its sporting calendar includes Formula 1, the NFL, the Mutua Madrid Open and the Rock ’n’ Roll Madrid Marathon, alongside the weekly fixtures of Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid in LaLiga and the UEFA Champions League. Golf is also part of the offer, with courses such as the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid within easy reach of the city centre.
Madrid is also recognised as a leading incentives destination. This year, the Spanish capital has been named the World’s Best Incentive Destination and Europe’s Best Incentive Destination at the World MICE Awards. The distinction highlights the city’s ability to host corporate groups with programmes that combine sport, culture, gastronomy and leisure, as well as its year-round climate and the short distances between its main venues. The Madrid Convention Bureau, part of Madrid City Council, leads the city’s work to attract incentive travel, meetings and congresses, and supports companies and organisers in planning their programmes in Madrid.
Madrid’s leisure offer includes Gran Vía musicals, a wide range of live music venues and an active dining scene, together with a cultural agenda that runs throughout the year. The city is also home to the UNESCO World Heritage Landscape of Light, which includes the Paseo del Prado and Buen Retiro Park and also to world-class museums such as the Museo del Prado and the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza.
Whatever the season, Madrid is always ready to welcome you. Discover more in the official guide to Madrid through the seasons.

Why this partnership matters to WCGC
WCGC was founded in 1993. Today the competition operates in more than 30 countries and culminates each year in the World Final.
Madrid shares that outlook. It is a city where business, culture and sport meet naturally, and where international visitors are welcomed all year round.
For WCGC participants, licensees and partners, the collaboration opens a direct line to Madrid as a place to meet, host and do business.
Madrid’s participation is part of the work of Madrid Unique Destination, the high-impact tourism product club led by Madrid City Council Tourism Department, which brings together leading companies in high-end hospitality, gastronomy, retail and experiences.
What to expect at the WCGC World Final in Beijing
Madrid will be present throughout the World Final week. Madrid’s programme includes a presentation at the Welcome Cocktail, a presentation at the WCGC Executive Partners Meeting, the Dinner with the Legends, the Business Networking Forum Madrid / China, and a presentation of the city during the Gala Dinner.
The World Final runs from 19 to 23 October and concludes with the Black-Tie Gala Dinner at the NUO Hotel Beijing on 22 October.
About the World Corporate Golf Challenge
The World Corporate Golf Challenge is a global corporate golf competition that brings together business leaders under the motto “Bringing the World of Business Together.”
Since its foundation in 1993 in the UK, in partnership with The Times, the World Corporate Golf Challenge (WCGC) has offered companies a unique platform to strengthen their internal and external relationships through golf. With a high media impact, this event combines prestige and sophistication, establishing itself as a strategic corporate communications channel.
Rapid success in the UK prompted its global expansion in 1997. Today, more than 30 countries participate in the WCGC, making it the largest corporate golf tournament in the world. This growth demonstrates both the quality of the event and its ability to adapt to different markets and corporate cultures.
Each year, national winners come together at the WCGC World Final, representing their companies and countries in an environment that fosters sporting talent and, above all, international networking. It is a unique opportunity to strengthen business relationships in a competitive and professional environment.
