The UAE National Final of the World Corporate Golf Challenge has crowned its 2026 champions. Cameron Franklin and Declan Madden triumphed at the OnSite Finance International UAE National Final, seeing off a field of 30 other corporate teams with a combined score of 68 points to claim the title outright.
A Decisive Win at the UAE National Final
Competing against 30 other corporate teams, Franklin and Madden produced a combined score of 68 points to take the UAE National Final title outright, earning the right to represent the UAE and their respective companies on the international stage. It is a result that reflects the growing depth and quality of corporate golf across the Emirates, and the increasing prestige attached to the UAE National Final within the region’s business community.
The Road to Beijing 2026
Franklin and Madden will now travel to China next month to compete at the World Corporate Golf Challenge World Final, scheduled for 19 to 23 October at Qinghe Bay Golf Country Club, Beijing. There, they will face teams from 36 competing countries as part of the Road to Beijing 2026 campaign, the culmination of a season that has run in parallel across dozens of national markets worldwide. Widely regarded as one of the finest amateur tournaments in the world, the WCGC World Final promises an unforgettable experience for the UAE’s representatives, and a fitting reward for their UAE National Final victory.
Distinguished Guests Honour the UAE National Final
The occasion was marked by the presence of Mr Trevor Deacon, Chairman of the OnSite Group, official WCGC licensee in the UAE, alongside Mr Jose Guerra, Chairman of the World Corporate Golf Challenge. Their attendance at the UAE National Final underlined the growing significance of this event within the tournament’s global calendar, and reinforced the strength of the partnership between WCGC and its Emirati license holders.
Prizes and Partners
Beyond the overall UAE National Final title, the day delivered 17 on-course prizes, made possible through the generous support of WCGC’s partners and sponsors. Their continued backing plays a central role in elevating the standard and the standing of corporate golf in the region, and underscores the value that sponsors place on associating their brands with a tournament of this calibre.
Why the UAE National Final Matters for Business
For the executives and entrepreneurs who take part, the UAE National Final is about more than a scorecard. Corporate golf has long served as a natural extension of the boardroom, offering leaders a relaxed but competitive setting in which to build relationships, open conversations, and strengthen the professional networks that underpin their businesses. A National Final raises the stakes further: it brings together a country’s strongest corporate players in one field, on one day, competing not only for individual pride but for the chance to represent their companies and their nation, on a genuinely global stage.
About the World Corporate Golf Challenge
Founded in 1993, the World Corporate Golf Challenge operates across more than 30 countries, bringing corporate leaders and entrepreneurs together under the banner “Bringing the World of Business Together.” National Finals such as the UAE National Final serve as the decisive qualifying stage in each market, with winners progressing directly to the WCGC World Final, this year taking place in Beijing, China. For the UAE’s business community, the National Final represents both a competitive showcase and a genuine networking platform, bringing together the country’s corporate golfers for one of the most keenly contested days on the calendar.
Congratulations once again to Cameron Franklin and Declan Madden on their UAE National Final win. The whole of the UAE’s corporate golf community will be following their progress as they carry the country’s flag to Beijing.
