On 16th November 2023, Luzhou Laojiao·Guojiao 1573 WCGC China Finals ended successfully after two rounds of fierce competition. Ye Huaibin from Wuhan, Su Liang from Shenyang, and Chen Caifeng from Kunming won first, second and third place in the Qualifying Group. Jiang Quangui from Changsha, Liu Bo from Zhongshan, and Yu Xiaomin from Changchun won first, second and third place in the Challenge Group. Wuhan, Changchun and Kunming City Teams won the first, second and third place in the team competition.
Mr Ye Huaibin and Mr Jiang Quangui won the seats for the 31st WCGC World Finals. Mr Zhang Biao, Party Secretary and General Manager of Luzhou Laojiao Sales Co., Ltd., Mr Zhang Liang, General Manager of Luzhou Laojiao Guojiao Liquor Sales Co., Ltd., Mr Qian Yongsheng, Chairman of WCGC China committee, Mr Zhang Guiping, Chairman of Jiangsu Golf Association and Guojiao 1573 Brand Consultant, Mr Chen Daoxiang, Guojiao 1573 a brand friend and a senior golf enthusiast, Mr Zhang Lianwei, a legend of Chinese golf, and famous actor Mr Liao Jingsheng, and other guests and players participated in this unforgettable aromatic golf event.
Qualifiers from 23 cities compete for different awards
On 14th November, the 2023 Luzhou Laojiao·Guojiao 1573 WCGC China Finals took place in Nanjing, the ancient China capital of the Six Dynasties. The aromatic golf events attracted more than 170 qualified entrepreneur players from 23 cities to the national finals. In addition to players who qualified from different contesting regions, entrepreneur players also took part in the final event. The season started in the Shenzhou Peninsula Hainan in April and ended successfully at Shijiazhuang, lasting around 220 days.
The event attracted nearly 2,200 entrepreneur golfers nationwide. A blue gale warning was issued during the 3-day events, but the two rounds of games of the Qualifying Group were fierce. Ye Huaibin, who tied for first place in the first round of the group, maintained a good performance in the second round and won the championship. Su Liang from Shenyang won the runner-up, and Chen Caifeng, a female entrepreneur from Kunming, won third place in the Qualifying Group.
Jiang Quangui from Changsha, Liu Bo from Zhongshan and Liu Mingtao from Changchun won first, second and third place in the Challenge Group. Net champion, runners-up and third-placed from two rounds went to Yu Xiaomin from Changchun, Yang Qingquan from Guangzhou, and Chen MingChen from Fuzhou.
The Wuhan team from the central south area won the best team from two rounds; the runners-up team were awarded to the Changchun team from North China, and the third-placed team was awarded to the Kunming team from the southwest region.
A feast of aromatic golf event comes into a new chapter
2023 is the seventh year of cooperation between Luzhou Laojiao·Guojiao 1573 and WCGC China. Thanks to the full support from Guojiao 1573, the event’s scale has grown and expanded yearly. Our contesting regions have increased from 11 cities in 2017 to more than 30 cities. The WCGC China event has become one of the most popular and well-recognized events among entrepreneur golfers in China. It also becomes an essential platform for exchanging ideas and information for Chinese entrepreneurs and domestic business leaders.
