  • The airline will fly to Santorini for the first time and restart services to Athens, Alghero, and Tunisia.

Air Europa is expanding its network of destinations for the coming Summer season, offering passengers more than 65,000 seats on four new routes in Europe and North Africa.

In addition, and in line with its expansion plan driven by the dynamics of recovery and growth initiated in 2022, Air Europa will also reinforce its Summer schedule with a new route between New York and Santo Domingo.

The summer operations take off on 26 March with the restart of the route to Tunisia, where Air Europa flies with three weekly frequencies.

Also, in mid-June, the airline will fly for the first time from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport to Santorini, a new destination to which it will fly three times a week until the beginning of September. During this same period, Air Europa’s presence in Greece will be reinforced with the relaunch of its operations to Athens, to which it will connect with four flights a week.

Finally, in July, the airline will increase its network of destinations with Alghero, the city on the northwest coast of Sardinia where, as in previous years, there will be two flights a week. Also, from mid-July to mid-September, Air Europa will connect New York and Santo Domingo with two frequencies a week.

Santorini, Athens, Alghero and Tunisia will be operated by the Boeing 737-800 fleet, the model around which Air Europa has unified its entire short and medium-haul fleet. The company, which has chosen the Boeing 787 Dreamliner for its entire transoceanic network, and with which it will operate the route between New York and Santo Domingo, continues to increase its number of aircraft as part of its expansion plan in response to high market demand.
