On 22 and 23 September, Parador de Málaga Golf hosted the WCGC Spain National Final 2026, the national final of the Expansión World Corporate Golf Challenge Spain 2026 and the culmination of a summer-long circuit that took corporate golf to the Costa Brava, the Costa del Sol and Madrid. Played over two days and 36 holes in a play-off format, the event decided which team will represent Spain at the World Corporate Golf Challenge World Final, to be held in Beijing in October.
WCGC Spain National Final: two rounds, two formats, one challenge

The WCGC Spain National Final brought together the teams that qualified through the circuit’s three previous events — Empordà Golf Resort, Chaparral Golf Club and Golf Santander — each of which awarded direct places to its top two pairs.
Designed to test both consistency and decision-making under pressure, the format combined two modalities: the first round was played as Four-Ball Better Ball (Net Stableford), with each player playing their own ball; the second as Greensomes (Net Stableford), with both players teeing off and then playing alternate shots from the ball chosen by each pair.
MAILFACTORY, WCGC Spain 2026 Champions

After two rounds, MAILFACTORY — Julián Penche and Roberto Zubiri — were crowned Spanish Champions of the Expansión WCGC 2026, earning their place at the Guojiao 1573 World Corporate Golf Challenge World Final 2026, to be played in Beijing from 19 to 23 October. The team also took home two Luxury Secrets by Montaraz boxes and a Polestar suitcase.
Second place went to FETAJO RENTACAR, with Domingo Gavira and Félix Pinar, who received a Limited Edition box of Iberian products from Montaraz and two boxes of Italian products from Garda.

Corporate Invitational
The National Final also hosted the Corporate Invitational, a parallel tournament reserved for the circuit’s guests. First place went to Román Romero González, who won a Magnum of CLOS CIEN and a Montaraz cured Iberian loin, while second place went to Clemente Ángel Castillo, awarded a Magnum of CLOS CIEN.

The 19th Hole Club, the social heart of the Final
Beyond the sporting result, the 19th Hole Club served as the National Final’s hub for networking between executives and circuit sponsors. Montaraz offered live ham carving at both the cocktail reception and lunch, providing one of the most celebrated culinary experiences of the event.

On the institutional side, Costa del Sol, the circuit’s Destination Partner, found its natural stage in this National Final: holding the tournament at Parador de Málaga Golf reaffirms the Costa del Sol as a leading destination for high-level corporate golf. Polestar, Official Car of the Expansión WCGC, was also present with a vehicle display on site.
